Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
  2. 2 Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan
  3. 3 Mash bananas in a large bowl
  4. 4 Add eggs, Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla, mix well
  5. 5 In separate bowl, combine flour, protein powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt
  6. 6 Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir until just combined
  7. 7 Fold in chocolate chips if using
  8. 8 Pour batter into prepared loaf pan
  9. 9 Bake for 45-50 minutes until toothpick comes out clean
  10. 10 Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack
