Ingredients
- ✓ 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- ✓ 2 eggs
- ✓ 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- ✓ 1/4 cup honey
- ✓ 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ✓ 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- ✓ 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
- ✓ 1 tsp baking soda
- ✓ 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- ✓ 1/4 tsp salt
- ✓ 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- 1 Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
- 2 Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan
- 3 Mash bananas in a large bowl
- 4 Add eggs, Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla, mix well
- 5 In separate bowl, combine flour, protein powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt
- 6 Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir until just combined
- 7 Fold in chocolate chips if using
- 8 Pour batter into prepared loaf pan
- 9 Bake for 45-50 minutes until toothpick comes out clean
- 10 Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack
- 11 Slice into 10 pieces and store in airtight container
